About Me.jpg

By now you have figured out my name is Demsina, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian living in the great New England city of Boston. I grew up in sunny California and spent a great part of my college life learning to make latte art at a farmer-owned coffee shop! I'm a sucker for amazing cheese spreads and will pretty much eat anything with blueberries-- but will not eat them raw! Yes, I rather eat them in baked goods; I'm telling you, I'm a "cool Dietitian". But the complete opposite is true for vegetables, if they're not raw--I'm not eating them. Now that you know all my quirky food habits, you should also know that I use to work as a Clinical Dietitian at a Rehabilitation hospital focusing on Traumatic Brain Injury recovery as well as a Clinical Dietitian for a Harvard-based teaching hospital.

I have since transitioned to Research and Management, because I want to be on the front line of cutting edge discoveries that will affect everyone's life! Also, Research is precise, it makes no apologies, and it is weird and cool all at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I am challenged EVERY single day, pushed beyond what I think my capabilities are, and pushed to be better.

I'm a firm believer that it is never too late to take control of your life! But don't let the word "healthy" fool you, healthy lifestyle doesn't mean boring, and it also doesn't mean you don't get to have some massive NYC pizza once in a while!
